Message from the Director
Jesus said: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,” Luke 4:18 NIV.
Lots of good news is happening in this region, families being freed from slavery, Bible poor people now listening to Scripture, and Latino workers enlisting to serve those towns and bring them comfort, encouragement and to speak to them lovingly.
All this would be impossible without Jesus. The hearts of his children, servants and friends filled with his Holy Spirit are being moved to continue sharing the gospel of the kingdom of God with those who have not heard it yet.
The global church (the body of Christ) is uniting. Each one fulfilling its role in the task of making disciples of all nations of the earth. This week we have seen the hand of God working with people of different ethnic groups: The Mapuche from Chile, the mestizos from Ecuador, Mexico and Brazil, the Akha from Thailand, the Punjabs from Pakistan, North Americans from the US, and the Aussie from Australia, all united with the purpose of bringing the good news of Jesus to the poor, the captives, the blind and the oppressed.
This week let's think for a moment about the characteristics and advantages of our own ethnic groups and how to use them for the extension of the kingdom of God.

Media Network Meetings
This week we had the meeting of the North Thailand multimedia production ministries. We were able to learn about the work that has been done in other multimedia ministries and their future plans. We were able to share a testimony as a result of the connections in this network, here it is:
Aila, a Brazilian woman from our team, is supporting a cross-cultural worker from Mexico in some projects with the local church and one of the least reached ethnic groups in this region.
Together they made a trip to visit one of the “Akha” villages and were able to pray for a woman who two years ago decide to stop been the village’s witch. When this woman decided to leave witchcraft some of the spirits continued to torment her and she couldn't sleep fully any night. The next morning after Aila had prayed for her, this lady was very happy because that night she had been able to sleep completely. Then Aila was able to share with her about the good news of Jesus. The woman insisted that she wants to listen more stories because she doesn't know how to read and write so she wanted them to tell her more stories from the Bible.
When Aila and the team returned to the city, thanks to a connection we made with an audio-Bible ministry (Faith comes by Hearing) in the network of multimedia ministries, aila managed to get more than 20 speakers with the audio Bible in Akha, the language of that community. Aila went over the past weekend with the Mexican worker to deliver the word of God in audio to many families in that community who do not know how to read and write but who want to hear the good news of Jesus in their own language.
Henriquez Family Mentoring
We are currently in a coaching process with a family from Chile who have served for more than eight years with Letra Chile ministry (Bible translation Ministry) doing work of discipleship, mobilization and preparation some Chilean cross-cultural workers for Bible translation in the nations.
We begun the coaching and guidance process to help them put everything in order in Chile now that the Lord is calling them to serve in Southeast Asia with their gifts and talents in anthropology and literacy.
One of the main barriers that a Latino worker experiences is the disconnection with the missions ministries that work with the least reached ethnic groups. This disconnection is mainly due to cultural and language barriers that exist mainly between the western organizations and the workers who come from non-western countries.
With CENTRAL we seek to help reduce this barrier through a cultural translation between mission organizations in Asia and the church and workers in Latin America.
Meeting with the directors of member care and special projects with SIL.
In the 1960s, Mr. Person was sent to Argentina as a missionary and seminary professor in Buenos Aires. Her daughter Suzie grew up in Argentina hearing from her father the dream of seeing many Latino workers being sent to the least reached ethnic groups.
Last Thursday Suzie traveled from Bangkok to meet with us and explore opportunities for cooperation between CENTRAL and SIL.
When we shared with him what we do and that we have been working initially with Frontier Ventures, he was very moved because his father had been a close friend of Ralph Winter, the man who started that ministry and who proposed the concept of unreached people groups and frontier people groups
Suzie introduced us to Marcus. We shared the full vision of CENTRAL over lunch and their reaction was very positive. Soon we are going to have a meeting with the director of SIL to discuss ways of collaboration between the two ministries.
LIBERTAD #31 YADAV INDIA
Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:3
This week we interceded for the Yadav ethnic group in India with a population of more than 40 million people and only 0.01% of followers of Jesus.
These were the prayer points for this ethnic group this week:
* May the Lord use their quality of generosity in sharing the gospel.
* Open hearts so that they will listen to the stories of Salvation, taking advantage of their tradition of telling stories.
* For the missionaries who are going to go there. Exodus 23:30
* Psalm 19: 7 Let the workers be faithful.
* For the people so that they can understand the gospel correctly and so that they can see who truly deserves the glory of overcoming darkness with Light, evil with good, and ignorance with knowledge
* For people Passionate about Christ to praise the King with Psalms (Digital Platforms with music in the language of this ethnic group)
* For leaders to be reached.
* For the Workers and open doors to arrive.
